At the first Wrestlefest Canada Dave got to wrestle the stunning muscled hunk Bobby Carter in a real grappling match, and he has declared it one of the all time best matches he's ever had. In a very close battle Bobby came out with 2 submissions to Dave's 1 and although the veteran didn't mind losing to the young fighter, for him, the fire was lit to get on the mats again and earn some redemption.

Dave had to wait a full year before Bobby and he crossed paths again, but the time between had not lessened his desire to show the muscle hunk who his daddy was, nor had it dimmed the chemistry between the two men.
