CALLUM v LC = C v L 3
This is the 7th match for both Callum and LC & it’s their 3rd meeting. The first match was also in this very room and we return for another 30 mins to see if things have moved on. Callum is taller, heavier, has darker hair and wears yellow trunks. LC is shorter, lighter has brown hair and wears green trunks.
Whilst circling LC cheekily offers his arm then leg for Callum to pull. Callum has a different idea and takes both LC’s feet sending him crashing to the mat. Callum flips LC over and lays on a good strong Boston crab. Callum, apologetically, sets the scene by telling LC that he must get him back as LC hurt him last time. This sounds like it’s going to be fun! Praise here as these two can be heard. Too often wrestlers speak to each other and forget to project for the audience. “You’ve got no chance lad” groans LC from below and, using his gargantuan thighs, power himself free. A bit of slap and tussle informs us there is heat between these two handsome hunks. Callum hip tosses LC to the mat and lays on a head lock whilst clamping LC’s left arm between his own powerful legs. He cranks the head and LC whimpers. A trio of unsporting hair pulls fail to free LC so he brings his legs into play and Callum releases. It’s just an escape and not a counter hold. Callum is immediately back on his feet whilst LC crouches recovering. LC takes Callum’s head between his hands and then tucks it under his left arm but Callum reciprocates and LC releases ending up face down to the mat with Callum’s chin pressing between his shoulder blades. LC attempts a kick out but is held firm by Callum who then nimbly skips over & head locks LC from behind. The cameraman scores a good shot of both their faces here. Callum wraps his legs around LC but LC kicks a third time and pulls out. The heat is getting hotter as LC roughly pushes Callum away and laughs – it’s a nervous laugh and Callum looks un-phased. LC fools Callum into a test of strength and kicks him in the gut. Callum offers LC the same move which he accepts and tries the kick again. This time Callum is equal to it and catches the offending foot sending LC back down to the mat. Callum grabs his other foot and holds them high such that LC has his head and shoulders on the floor. Callum turns LC into another Boston and the first score is Callum’s.
Round two. Callum shoves LC. Their lock up is frenetic and their expressions are serious and aggressive. LC wins the first encounter and Callum finds himself in a full nelson – soon reversed but LC attempts to break free by sitting straight down. Callum anticipates and goes down with him, holds him a moment then rolls him sideways into a mirror image of an earlier headlock. It’s great to see Callum living up to his declaration and hurting LC – revenge is sweet! Their first match was something of a squash but this, for me, is more satisfying as LC is getting some moves in making Callum fight for his fun. Karma has me definitely backing the yellow clad youth even though green is still good. Callum has LC laid on his back and takes his arm between those strong and shapely legs and jerks it hard. Both boys are relatively still for a few moments and the cameraman has scope to explore for us. Callum teases LC using his own words back at him “is that all you’ve got?” - apparently it is.
Part three sees Callum still clearly ahead as LC calls, in vain, for a time out. Much as I enjoyed seeing, and hearing, Callum suffer in match one I am equally enthralled to see him as the punisher. One can almost see him as the bad boy here if you chose to forget what went before.
How does the match play out? You’ll have to buy it to see!
