v TIGER = CvT 1
Here we have the last of the four matches filmed in the industrial unit ring. This is the second appearance here for both Callum (who previously wrestled Matt) and Tiger (who previously wrestled Imtiaz). Callum is now in, predominantly, black & white trunks whilst Tiger is in purple & black shorts. Callum is very much the beefier boy, quite a bit heavier than Tiger – but Tiger won’t mind that as he has a height advantage.
This appears to be quite a good humoured match with both participants wearing a smile at frequent times. As early as about 1:30 seconds there is a move which sees Callum counter a Tiger roll by accidentally getting his feet under the ropes. This first round is almost entirely Callum’s as he uses his superior weight to keep Tiger pretty much immobile until he gives. The second round looks like more of the same as Callum quickly powers Tiger to the mat and gives him head scissors, triangle chokes etc. Towards the end, however, Tiger stages a comeback to take the second score.
The aforementioned smiles are prevalent in round three which also sees a bit more caution with both boys trying to stay on their feet. Tiger takes this round with ankle lock which Callum taps out to rather hastily. Round four sees Tiger taking the initiative and taking Callum down to the mat. There he holds him in a strong head lock – Callum back to canvas whilst Tiger is alongside but face down. The reversal comes around half way through and Callum holds on to level the score.
Handshakes start each section but this is no easy ride for either wrestler. We see, good firm holds, long held and painful if the sound is to be believed – I believe it!
So here we have a good long & strong match featuring very competent & competitive wrestlers indulging us with powerful submission moves, mainly on the mat and with great camerawork making the most of the long held holds to get great close up imagery.
How does the match play out? You’ll have to buy it to see!
