A newbie on the site, NBWreslter07 came out of nowhere into my Meetfighters inbox at the beginning of the year, and very quickly, we realized we needed to fight each other.

We learned that we're almost the same size with thick muscular builds, and we both like very rough and long matches. NBW also had BJJ experience but was rusty and wanted to get back into it.

We made a plan to meet in March, with the understanding that our first round would last 45 minutes, and the only thing off-limits was our faces. There would be no talking before the fight, just us setting the timer and fighting.

What we shot is that 45 minutes round from one stationary camera angle while we cautiously started fighting and then ultimately broke each other down piece by piece. NBW is just as rough as he let on, and despite an obvious attraction between us, we were both primarily motivated by hurting each other with nasty holds, hard strikes and knees, and dirty tactics like fish hooks.
