Rocko Mortis:
I am Rocko Mortis and this is WatchFighters interviews.

WatchFighters Media:
Did you watch a lot of wrestling growing up?

Rocko Mortis:
I did. My neighbor and I were both wrestling fans of pro wrestling and I was a WCW fan and he was a WWF household, and we would watch wrestling and then we would have matches where I would pretend to be a WCW wrestler, Goldberg or something and then he would be AWWF wrestler and we put these fantasy matches together. I actually still to this I have a chipped tooth right here from those wild days of my youth.

WatchFighters Media:
How long have you been part of the online wrestling community?

Rocko Mortis:
I found out about Wrestlefest a week before it happened last year. I had always been into wrestling.

I had always been turned on by wrestling. But last year I was celebrating two years of sobriety. This is three years and so I never had space in my life to participate until then and was very lucky and dove in head first, and didn't know a single person. I knew no one and had a genuinely life changing experience, met incredible people and had just a crazy insane year. I met who would become my boyfriend and then had a wonderful relationship with him. I started filming content shortly after that, and started being able to live that dream that I'd always wanted.

And I've just been, I mean, I keep saying I'm the luckiest jobber in Manhattan because I have had the best experience possible and have been very honoured and excited to be a part of this community and be embraced and feel welcomed by such wonderful and sweet and enthusiastic wrestlers. I I love this community and I couldn't be more grateful to be a part of it.

WatchFighters Media:
What is your preferred fighting attire?

Rocko Mortis:
I have decided to lean into the goth spooky look, and honestly, wrestling has allowed me to do that, and really get to know myself. You know, I've said I've never felt this confident in myself. I've never felt this in charge of my sexual narrative before. And so when it comes to fighting gear and attire, I just kind of go for the goth there. I go for the fetish look or you know, something something different, things that I don't really see happening in other in other matches. And I'm really just thrilled that I get to express this part of myself while doing something that I love so much.

WatchFighters Media:
How comfortable are you wrestling naked on camera? Did it take long to get used to?

Rocko Mortis:
I knew it was coming. And, you know, I used to be an actor and kind of reached the point in my life where I realized that wasn't the path I was going to take anymore. And after that, I felt free to just do anything, right? When it comes to being naked on camera, once it's on the Internet, it's out there. And my first nude match on camera was with Kaden Keller. And we talked about it and I trusted him and we had everything, you know, we knew what was going to happen. And I just remember the moment that he had me in over a rear naked choke, in this RNC, and he rips my singlet off and start strangling me with it. And I thought, well, this is it. This is the moment it's out there and I can't take it back. And it was so freeing. And I had it was one of my favorite matches and I could have asked for a better opponent and a better collab partner to take me to that side of the content world.
