Those postings are probably auto or pre scheduled to post at a specificity date. Even close friends of him posted that he passed away.

Yes, people keep saying vague things like that. WHO made the announcements? How do we know this is real? I have not seen any news about it, and cannot find anyone saying anything more authoritative than the vague answer you provided (they are all like that: "a friend of a friend heard...").
