    • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an additional layer of security for your account. It requires not only your password but also a second verification method usually a code from a smartphone app. This added step ensures that only you can access your account, even if someone else knows your password.

    • To enable 2FA for your account, go to your account-settings and click Change next to Two-factor authentication. Follow the instructions to complete setup and secure your account.

  • 3) How to disable 2FA
    • To disable 2FA, go to your account-settings, click Change next to Two-factor authentication, and follow the steps to remove it.
    • Note: For certain members, 2FA is enforced and cannot be disabled. This typically applies when your account has reached a specific monetization value threshold, ensuring an added layer of security.

  • 4) How to update my 2FA device
    • If you need to update your 2FA device, go to account-settings, click Change next to Two-factor authentication, and follow the prompts to enter a new device.

  • 5) What app should I use for 2FA?
    • For secure and reliable 2FA, we recommend using one of the following free and widely supported authenticator apps:
      • Google Authenticator (iOS and Android)
      • Microsoft Authenticator (iOS and Android)
      • Authy (iOS, Android, and Desktop - includes backup and multi-device support)

  • 6) What is protected by 2FA on WatchFighters
    • 2FA secures the following actions on your account:
      • Logins
      • Password changes
      • Email changes
      • Payout settings changes
      • Disabling and updating of 2FA

  • 7) What if I lose my 2FA device?
    • If you've lost access to your 2FA device, open a support ticket. You may be asked to provide your 2FA recovery key to verify your identity and regain account access.
